Marcela Gajardo

Senior researcher and Professor in Chile, holds a graduate degree in Education (Catholic University, Chile) and a postgraduate degree in Sociology (University of Essex, England). Visiting Scholar at Harvard s University David Rockefeller Center for Latin American Studies (DRCLAS) was the Cofounder and former director of PREAL (1995-2013) – www.preal.org–  has conducted regional cooperation projects in the LAC Region and acted as an international senior consultant for UNESCO, OAS, IDRC, IDB and IICA Brazil, among others.  Professor and Researcher at the Catholic University (PUC-Chile, 1969-1977), FLACSO-Chile (1980-1990), Universidad Alberto Hurtado and Universidad del Desarrollo (Chile) has also been Visiting Professor at FLACSO and the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico (1974-1976).
